We'll enclose a prepaid satchel for you to lodge an over-the-counter return at an Australia Post outlet before 2pm on your chosen return date (or 11.30am on Saturdays).

Simple checkout

Upon booking, you'll be charged the nightly hire fee as well as a refundable security deposit. We know you'll take amazing care of the piece as if it were your own, so we'll refund the security deposit upon its safe return.

Delivery and returns

For most orders, we'll use Australia Post's Express Post next business day delivery service to have your order arrive by 5pm on your chosen delivery date.

If your delivery address is outside of Australia Post's Express Post next business day delivery network, we will post the clutch a couple of days before your delivery date to ensure timely arrival.

If you're not present for the delivery, an Australia Post card will be left advising where and how to collect (remember to bring photo identification). The clutch will be packaged securely inside its original dust bag and Clutched box, inside an Australia Post Express Post satchel.

We offer Australia-wide delivery to all metro locations.

As we're Sydney based, we can only offer Saturday delivery within the Sydney metro area (you can check here). Delivery on Sunday is currently unavailable.

We don't offer weekend delivery outside of Sydney.

You'll need to complete the return by 2pm AWST on your nominated return date (11.30am on Saturdays).

Please follow these steps to complete the return:

  • Place the clutch into its original packaging. This includes the dust bag, Clutched box and the Australia Post Express Post satchel provided.
  • Take the parcel to your nearest Australia Post outlet by 2pm AWST on your nominated return date (11.30am on Saturdays) to lodge an over-the-counter delivery (street post boxes are strictly not to be used). Please ensure that you keep the lodgement receipt given to you by Australia Post.

You can track the parcel's progress on Australia Post's website using the tracking number printed on the return satchel.

We know how easy it is for things to slip the mind; especially if it's the day after your wedding, ball or Christmas party. Rest assured, we'll send you a reminder text message the morning of your return date to jog your memory. You've got until 2pm AWST (11.30am on Saturdays) to securely re-package the clutch and get to an Australia Post outlet - plenty of time for a sleep in.

In the rare event that return delivery is not completed on the return date, an additional daily hire fee will apply for each day the return is outstanding. Please make sure to read our full Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking.

Delivery and returns are free. A prepaid Australia Post Express Post satchel will be enclosed for easy return delivery.

Bookings

We suspect that most people will require a clutch for 1-2 nights. However, you may hire for any amount of time, pending availability. As all of our pricing is on a per-night basis, morning or all-day events - such as weddings - will require a booking for two nights (eg. if your event is all-day Wednesday, you'll need to book for delivery on Tuesday and return on Thursday).

We accept bookings up to 12 months in advance.

To ensure timely arrival, we ask that you book your clutch a minimum of one business day prior to your intended delivery date. Allow two business days for deliveries to Perth.

High-end accessories tend to garner the same attention as, say, an adorable newborn - and can be just as delicate, too! Everyone wants to hold or carry it, and we know how awkward it can be to say no. However, it's important that you keep it in your possession at all times and never lend it or hire on behalf of someone else.

Bookings may be cancelled or amended if your order has not yet been dispatched. Please select your clutch and delivery/return dates carefully, as once an order has been dispatched to you, it cannot be cancelled.

We charge a cancelation fee of 50% of the paid hire fee. The full security fee and remaining 50% of the hire fee will be credited back to you. Please email info@clutched.com.au to cancel or amend your booking.

Payments may be made via our website using MasterCard or Visa debit/credit cards.

Your nominated credit/debit card will immediately be charged when you make your booking via our website.

A security fee will be automatically charged to your card at the time you place your booking. The security fee amount will be clearly indicated at the Checkout stage, prior to securing your booking. Much like a hotel may retain your card details or make a temporary pre-authorisation until you check out, we retain your security fee until the clutch is safely returned to us. In the unlikely event that additional charges are incurred (due to late return, last-minute cancellation or damage to the clutch, for example), we may deduct the amount owing from your security fee and refund the balance. Lost/stolen/damaged items

Minor cosmetic wear from regular everyday use is generally acceptable. Major damage will have to be appraised for repair or replacement and charged accordingly. In the case of complete loss or theft, we will need to charge for a full replacement. Please make sure to read our full Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking.

All of our clutches are in new or near new condition. Minor wear and tear may be visible over time, but we will never dispatch a badly damaged item. In the unlikely event that you notice any damage after unpacking your order, please email us photographs of the damage immediately, prior to using the clutch. Please make sure to read our full Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking.

General questions

We will only let you take the best of the best to your special event. All of our clutches are in new or near new condition. Minor wear and tear may be visible over time, but we will never dispatch a badly damaged item.
